It has motifs of parrot and lotus repeating all over the body creating an interesting pattern.

The Macaw green parrots mirroring itself and repeating with the Hot Pink background is woven onto the Pine green background beautifully using the lustrous yarns of high quality mulberry silk with the traditional 'bandha' technique. It has Rudraksha in the border, which is a panch phulia (5 lines of flowers woven together) lined with hot pink which gives an extra edge. It also has a Ganga Jamuna border of Hot Pink on one side and Macaw Green on the other.

The traditional craftsmanship of the ‘Bandhakala’, the Tie-dye art reflected in their intricate weaves, also known as Sambalpuri “Ikat”. In this technique, the threads are first tie-dyed and later woven into a fabric, with the entire process taking many weeks.
