It has lines of Pasapalli alternating with Tribal motifs repeating all over the body, creating an interesting pattern.

The beautiful Pasapalli and Tribal motifs in white are handwoven using the lustrous yarns of high quality mulberry silk with the traditional 'bandha' technique into the black and jasmine green background. It has Rudraksha in the border, which is a panch phulia (5 lines of flowers woven together) lined with jasmine green which gives an extra edge. The jasmine green border has beautiful ikat and floral motifs in pastel green and white, creating harmony.

The traditional craftsmanship of the ‘Bandhakala’, the Tie-dye art reflected in their intricate weaves, also known as Sambalpuri “Ikat”. In this technique, the threads are first tie-dyed and later woven into a fabric, with the entire process taking many weeks.
