The pallu has the three chariots during the famous festival of Ratha Yatra. The presiding deities of the Jagannath Temple, Puri's main temple, Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra, with the celestial wheel - Sudarsan Chakra are removed from the temple in a ceremonial procession to their chariots. Along with this, there are motifs of birds and diyas as depicted in the stunning saree weave.

This beautiful saree is a rare piece and a completely NEW take on Gopalpur Tussar Silk Saree. It can be worn on any special event paired with some contemporary tribal or oxidised jewellery to modernise the entire look.      
It comes with a blouse piece. Length - 5.5 metres, Width - 47 inches.
