It is an important Landmark of Puri and the pilgrims and devotees worship it with great reverence. The Stambha has a magnificent base carved with military scenes and other figures. It is guarded by the lions as depicted in the stunning saree weave. It also has a small scenery showing sunrise at the beginning of the pallu.
This beautiful saree is a rare piece and a completely NEW take on Gopalpur Tussar Silk Saree. It can be worn on any special event paired with some contemporary tribal or oxidised jewellery to modernise the entire look.
