Balijatra is Voyage to Bali is the major Boita Bandana festival held at Cuttack on Kartik Purnima. It is considered to be one of Asia's largest open trade fair. This festival is held in Odisha in the city of Cuttack . It is celebrated to mark the day when ancient (Odia mariners) ⚓would set sail to distant lands in Indonesia, and Sri Lanka for trade and cultural expansion 🚢. This festival is celebrated every year from the day of Kartika Purnima.

The saree has been weaved in tussar silk and the border has five lines of tortoise🐢 motifs with small temple motifs. The body has small flower buttis in different colours. The main attraction of the saree is the grand pallu which describe the beautiful festival. It has toy stalls 🧸, giant wheels 🎡, and family enjoying the festival and food stalls selling Odia delicacies (Cuttack Dahibara Aludum, Thunka puri, Kulfi, Gupchup, Mathura Cake, Banarasi Paana etc.) 🥘 from different parts of the state, and other vendors selling toys, curiosities, and other gifts.
